{"id":11693,"date":"2013-12-12T19:57:47","date_gmt":"2013-12-13T00:57:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.resourcepro.com\/podcast-agency-producer-activity-gap-close\/"},"modified":"2024-07-15T10:13:32","modified_gmt":"2024-07-15T14:13:32","slug":"podcast-agency-producer-activity-gap-close","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.resourcepro.com\/blog\/podcast-agency-producer-activity-gap-close\/","title":{"rendered":"Podcast: Closing the Producer Activity Gap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the 2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1gagZd1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Insurance Operations Best Practices Survey<\/a>, conducted by <em>ReSource Pro Analytics<\/em> and <em>Insurance Journal<\/em>, producers and service staff aren&#8217;t spending their time the way they think they should.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Productivity Gap<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2611\" src=\"https:\/\/www.resourcepro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Producers-time-spent-servicing-accounts-300x181.png\" alt=\"Producers time spent servicing accounts\" width=\"300\" height=\"181\"><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>83% of survey respondents said that producers should be spending less than a quarter of their time servicing or troubleshooting accounts; yet only 30% respondents are actually spending less than a quarter of their time servicing or troubleshooting accounts.
